Linux is steadily growing in popularity as a preferred operating system for business computing needs. Advantages of Linux include exceptional stability, with systems known for legendary uptimes; increased speed & efficiency, with its genuine multitasking, and capability to support more users and better performance on the same hardware than are supported on other proprietary operating systems; and remote operation, with the capability for an application to run on one machine and display its interface on another machine.

- Turnkey fax system in a range of sizes - including large systems with up to 96 digital fax ports, and small systems with up to 24 analog or digital fax ports
- Support for customer-supplied hardware - enabling customers to build the Linux fax server on the server hardware of their choice
- More ways to deliver messages than ever - enabling you to specify that inbound faxes be delivered to a Host Port, a Host Session, an SMTP mailbox, an SMTP mailbox from an LDAP lookup, an FTP site, a File destination, the Quarantine mailbox, or Hang up
- Support for SAMBA - whereby customers can configure the FAXCOM Server so that directory structures on the Linux fax server are visible to a Windows PC in the Windows Network Neighborhood
- Support for batch fax, hunt group sizes, receipt of a PDF, etc. - fax server enhancements recently introduced with the latest release of the Windows FAXCOM Server
